Abhishek Anand.

UX Engineer at Google. Building agentic AI tools, full-stack systems, and the data pipelines underneath them.

Over the last 17+ years I've built things across the stack: interfaces, services, and the plumbing that connects them. I'm currently in Google's Ads Central UX team in Bengaluru, working on agentic AI tooling. That means data pipelines, multi-step agents on the Agent Development Kit, Gemini for reasoning, and A2A/A2UI for how agents talk to each other and to people.

What I do

A short list of the things I’m good at, refined over fifteen years.

01

Agentic AI engineering

Multi-step agents on the Agent Development Kit, Gemini for reasoning and synthesis, A2A for splitting work across specialised agents, and the ingestion pipelines that feed them. Most of my recent work lives here.

02

UX engineering

The seam between design and code. I write the interfaces, the interactions, and the thousand small defaults that decide whether a product feels considered or not.

03

Full-stack engineering

Comfortable shipping from the database up through the layout: JavaScript and TypeScript on the front, Node and Python on the back, with the data plumbing in between. I like the parts where systems meet each other.

04

Architecture & technical leadership

Designing systems that are honest about their tradeoffs, and helping the engineers around me make good calls when no one is watching. Fifteen years of doing this across startups, scale-ups, and Google.

Google Ads Central

In production at Google

Agentic research tooling

Agentic desk-research tooling for UX researchers. The system pulls together third-party reports and analyst data, then reasons over them with a multi-step agent. Built on the Agent Development Kit with Gemini, A2A for delegated subtasks, and A2UI streaming the agent's steps as it works. I built the ingestion pipelines, the agent orchestration, and the front-end.

A working note

I'm most interested in the parts where systems meet each other. The seam between design and code, between agents and the people they serve, between the messy data and the clear interface that finally makes it useful.

Why work with me

What I bring to a collaboration.

01

Range with depth

Agentic AI tooling at Google today; before that, frontend architecture, Drupal platforms, and cloud work on GCP and AWS. I can hold the whole system in my head, not just my corner of it.

02

Experience leading

I have run teams of 15+ engineers and helped scale an engineering centre from zero to 200 people. Comfortable owning delivery, not just code.

03

A bias for shipping

Most of my career has been spent getting things across the gap between a promising demo and a product people rely on. That last mile is where I do my best work.

04

Work in the open

Co-maintainer of Drupal modules with 100K+ downloads, and a DrupalCon speaker. I like sharing what I learn, in code and on stage.
